●Position Overview
The Bilingual Telematics Test Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the validation of telematics control unit testing for an automotive OEM. This role involves test plan creation, milestone tracking, and collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, testers, and suppliers. It provides an opportunity to enhance expertise in test management and gain exposure to senior management within both the client and the company.

●About the Department:
Supporting OEM in validation and planning of telematics control unit testing, consists of over 50 associates.

●Responsibilities:
- Understand issues and plan testing for each software release.
- Create test plans and gather relevant information to achieve vehicle milestones.
- Maintain continuous communication with clients and testers to track test progress.
- Ensure strong follow-ups with the testing team to complete testing tasks.
- Provide timely status updates and report roadblocks to management.

●Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing or test management activities.
- Understanding of telematics systems and their functionalities.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience in documentation for test planning and vehicle milestones.
- Strong coordination skills among customers, testers, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in preparing documents creatively using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Vector CANoe and JIRA.

Languages:
- Japanese: Business level
- English: Business level

● Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of CAN and FOTA.
- Experience with various communication protocols such as MQTT, SMS, call-related protocols, 4G, and 5G.
