Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior solution architects and project teams to understand insurance system requirements and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and development teams, to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Analyze current technology platforms, systems, and processes to determine areas for improvement and develop proposals for optimization.
Develop technical documentation, including solution designs, project plans, system diagrams, and integration architectures.
Assist in the design and documentation of architectural patterns, frameworks, and models specific to insurance applications.
Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate proposed insurance solutions.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of insurance solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the development lifecycle of the projects.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends specifically within the insurance sector, evaluating their potential impact on insurance architecture.
Support the continuous improvement of architectural practices, processes, and frameworks within the insurance domain.

●Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Close to 5 years of experience or less in a related field, preferably in insurance software development, systems integration, or IT consulting.
Strong understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and integration patterns relevant to the insurance industry.
Familiarity with insurance-specific platforms, databases, and technologies (e.g., policy management systems, claims processing, underwriting platforms).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
A self-motivated individual with a dedication to learning and a strong desire to pursue a career as a Solution Architect within the insurance industry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Very good command of English + business level Japanese required

●Tech Skills
Understanding of microservices architectures and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
Understanding of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and Node.js.
Knowledge of any cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
Understanding the security architecture principles
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins.
Knowledge or working with APIs and integrating systems using RESTful web services.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, and C#.
Knowledge of web technologies, reverse proxy servers, etc.,
Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
