ご担当頂く業務は、日本でのVender Management担当として日々の業務を管理しながら、海外担当マネージャーと連携しより良いチーム作りを担っていただきます。
この業務では、より良いサービスの利用を推進する為に社内ビジネス部門および情報配信ベンダーとの連携が必須であり、その為に我々が現在管理しているサービスに関する基本的な知識の理解向上が必要となります。
またサービスの利用状況の確認、利用終了や他のサービスへの切替などによるメリット・デメリットを分析するために、既存契約を適切に管理することが要求されます。
新規サービス導入時には、法務部と連携し契約上の法的リスクを確認しながら、取引所・情報ベンダーと契約交渉を適切に進めることが要求されます。
契約更新時には、サービス・契約内容をOperationsメンバーへ連携することにより、インベントリーシステムでの情報の正確性を担保する役割を要求されます。また利用しているサービスがビジネスの要望に見合うサービスであるか、コスト削減およびデータ品質改善を考慮しながら製品・サービスの評価するために、ビジネス・アナリスト・チームと密接な連携が要求されます。
プロジェクト対応では、ビジネスと共同して進めているMI(費用状況)レポートの自動化など、テクノロジー・チームと連携しマーケットデータ・コンテンツチームとしての経験や知識を示しながら、プロジェクト遂行に貢献して頂きます。
またご自身のコミュニケーション能力を発揮頂き、コスト削減などのグローバルで実施するプログラムにて国内外マーケットデータ・コンテンツのメンバーとしての活躍が期待されます。

We are seeking an experienced member of Market Data Vendor Management to join our team in Tokyo.
This position plays a crucial role in managing market data suppliers and supporting various business units across Japan, working as part of a global team and reporting to the Global Vendor Management lead for Market Data Content.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with market data suppliers and internal stakeholders, while monitoring and analysing service usage patterns to optimize data utilization. A key aspect of the role involves reviewing and managing vendor contracts, including renewals, terminations, and alternatives, as well as negotiating new service agreements. This includes both commercial and legal review, working closely with our Legal teams to mitigate commercial risks.
Working collaboratively with Market Data Operations, the role requires maintaining accurate service inventory records and partnering with Business Analysts to evaluate product and service requests.
The position requires focus on cost optimization while maintaining data quality standards. The candidate will participate in cross-functional projects, generate and analyse MIS reports, and support automation initiatives alongside technology and operations teams.

<Mandatory>
・金融業界でのマーケットデータ管理業務または情報配信ベンダーでの業務経験。
・マーケットデータシステムに関する十分な知識。
・関係各所への外部データ管理の必要性の説明に必要な知識および経験。
・取引所や情報配信ベンダーとの契約交渉に必要な経験ならびにサービスに関する知識。
・グローバル・マーケッツ、リサーチ、投資銀行部門業務に関する理解および知識。
・ピボットテーブルなどを利用した、エクセルでの資料分析能力。
・口頭および文書による高いコミュニケーションスキル。
・日本語および英語でのビジネスレベルのコミュニケーションスキル。
・交渉力。契約における課題を理解し、適切な判断を下すスキル。
・グローバルな環境で、国内外のチームと協同するスキル。
・戦略的思考と意思決定スキル。
・変化や新しい課題への適応力。

・Experience in Market Data Commercial teams within financial services, with a focus on Vendor Management support
・Knowledge of Market Data delivery systems and infrastructure
・Understanding of external data governance frameworks and ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements
・Familiarity with Market and Reference Data providers and their product offerings
・Understanding of Global Markets, Research and Investment Banking operatins
・Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
・Professional communication abilities in both Japanese and English
・Excellent negotiation skills, and proven commercial acumen.
・Ability to collaborate within and across regions, in a global team environment
・Demonstrate strategic thinking and decision-making skills
・Adaptability to change and new challenges

<Preferred>
・金融フォーラムへの参加経験やマーケットデータのサービス・契約の動向認識。
・MDSL社のMDM/RPMシステムの知識および利用経験。

・Previous experience and attendance at Industry forums and an awareness of key issues within the wider Market Data licensing community.
・Working knowledge of MDSL’s MDM and RPM system are desirable.
