仕事内容
Reporting to SVPs of Wholesale Sales Team, the Salesperson will be responsible for marketing and
selling our broad array of affiliate strategies to current and potential wholesale clients and
prospects.
The role requires strong relationship management, sales skills and investment knowledge.
●Duties and Responsibilities
Be responsible for any business development activity relating to pitches and carry out presentations in conjunction with Product Managers and /or Portfolio Managers & other relevant staff.
Proactively prepare and review with management specific progress towards sales objectives, including tracking key contact information and meeting notes using the CRM system.
Coordinate and communicate with the broader the company’s International Distribution team, including global consultant relations and other Core support functions as appropriate.
Stay abreast of the companys’ wide range of investment strategies and products as well as industry trends.
Provide feedback on market and prospects to support and develop overall new business strategy.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with our Affiliated managers who are active in the Japanese market.
Expand and enhance existing relationships and prospects with SVP’s support and establish new relationships through dedicated client servicing activities. This will involve prioritization of ccounts, research, prospecting through cold and warm calls, scheduling meetings and initiating discussions with clients and prospects.
Assist SVPs after obtaining the mandate, especially in the practical aspects including documentation up to the launch of the fund.
Comply with laws, regulations and the company/group’s rules and policies.

必要スキル
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in wholesale marketing to Japanese asset managers and
distributors, preferably including large distributors.
Preference to have experience covering global investment management products and within a leading local or global firm.
Energetic, highly motivated individual with a commercial & strategic mindset.
Solid experience in presenting to and interacting directly with wholesale clients.
Solid commercial edge combined with excellent investment product knowledge and experience.
An ability to explain the investment approach of relevant affiliate managers and interpret
where their strategies may fit clients’ needs.
An ability to build effective relationships across a large, complex global organization.
A consultative, solutions-oriented approach to developing, managing and retaining client relationships.
Self-confident but an ability to listen and consider other people’s points of view.
A personal style that fits well into a collegial, team-oriented environment - mature team player approach.
An ability to relate to investors with an understanding and appreciation of different strategies and solutions.
Sufficient English proficiency, both written and spoken.
