We are building a constellation of SAR satellites that will produce hundreds of images of the Earth every day. Our unit is responsible for the development of the SAR image processing software, the calibration procedure, assuring the quality of delivered images and developing new algorithms related to SAR image processing and analysis.

●Responsibility:
As a senior radar engineer, you will not only work closely with other team members to improve our existing software for radar data processing, calibration, and image analysis, but also develop your own algorithms and put them into production. Together with other teams you will also commission newly launched satellites, and ensure their continuous operation and contribute to the design and development of future satellites’ radar systems.

・Developing algorithms and software for processing and analyzing SAR images.
・Calibration and validation of the company’s SAR satellites.
・Analyzing the quality of SAR images.
・Conducting design reviews and system engineering of future satellites’s radar systems.

・PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience.
・5 years of experience in SAR.
・Deep knowledge of digital signal processing.
・Experience in at least one programming language.
・Good verbal and written English

●Preferred qualifications:
・Experience with InSAR.
・Experience in working with large datasets.
・Basic knowledge of software engineering (version control, unit testing, continuous integration).
・Basic knowledge of Linux and cloud-computing providers such as GCP.
・Good verbal and written Japanese.
