Job Summary
Lead platform support engineer accountable for end to end platform’s operational support.
Implement better observability for fast detection, fast resolution and implement preventive measures.
Navigate through complex incidents, unfamiliar problems along with team members, other IT teams and business teams.
Continuous learning of technologies, processes improvement through different unforeseen/unpredicted challenges and known issues.
Responsibilities
Do whatever it takes to keep running 24x7 customer and agents facing system.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, problems, and service requests.
Responsible for ensuring disaster recovery, privacy and security are aligned to enable application/platform stability.
Responsible to co-ordinate with multiple teams to solve the post incident problem, known issues which are not limited to technical but process, governance etc. as well.
Understand how platforms are evolving by monthly release & improve stability, observability continuously.
Manage a team of 6-7 platform support engineers at offshore.
Prioritize multiple tasks in day to day work and multiple incident situation.
Review changes of dependent systems, able to articulate the impact.

Required skills
More than 8 years of experience in application support or development
Comfortable being individual contributor when required
Experience in knowledge transitions
Understanding of SRE principles
Excellent communication skill to explain and ask correct questions to different teams in a blameless manner
Business level Japanese and business level English linguistic skills
Understanding of distributed architecture, cloud infrastructure, middlewarecomponents, authentication, web technologies
Nice to have
Cloud hosted application support or administrations
Understanding to work in Agile Delivery Model

Experience working in a large organization
