Automation Team is a small team of Six, but the influence and impact to organization is big. If this team is performing well, IT can spend less time on bureaucracy and risk mitigation but more time on production work.

The Automation team Azure Cloud Engineer role is a hands-on role, require to proactively seeks for opportunities to develops and supports Azure related activities to maintain a secure and reliable Azure platform. Through an understanding of security best practices and industry security requirements, designs, develops, and automate a secure infrastructure by leveraging Azure technologies.

The role should have experience on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Automations and Microsoft Defender for Cloud such as defining/following organization policies, using technologies to provide data protection, collects and analyzes Azure logs, managing incident responses, and demonstrating an understanding of the application of dynamic regulatory considerations.

Also the role requires capability to support automation processes in case disaster situation from Fukuoka operation center office. The technology team performs DR drill annually with business team, and the team support them to make operation smoother.

【Must】
Experience in Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, DevOps, Pipeline).
Development experience in either PowerShell, Python, Logic Apps or others development tools such as Power Apps...etc.
Having Azure certification on “AZ-900: Azure Foundation” or “AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator”, or equivalent working experience on Azure.
Conversational level in verbal communication skill in English.
Writing skill (email /documentation) in English.


【Want】
Experience in Azure Automation.
Experience in Azure Network configuration.
Experience in project management as a project manager, assistant, or member; with strong execution mind set is a plus.
Having Azure certification on “AZ-500: Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate”.
Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Understanding about DevOps.
Conversational level in verbal communication skill in Japanese.
Experience in Cloud Security such as DSC, Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Configuration, Hardening and Deployment Automation.
