The successful candidate will be working as part of Global Storage team together with colleagues across the globe, to work on continuous improvement and enhancement on Storage platform to contribute and accelerate the cloud adaption.

●Responsibilities：
Key Responsibilities includes

・Identify opportunity to automate manual steps or areas for improvement to remediate or mitigate operational risks, and directly contribute on coding to manage the storage platform effectively.
・Build, test and deliver new services and improvement on tape backup infrastructure
・Drive and implement storage related projects and initiatives by coordinating with various stakeholders, not limited to local region and also globally
・Provide onsite L3 support to monitor and work on service restoration of storage platform deployed globally when incident takes place, under Follow-the-Sun support model or provide on-call support as necessary.
・Engage with application teams throughout the lifecycle to provide reliable and scalable storage platform and services.
・Contribute on documenting operational run books and give coaching to team members as required.

・運用リスクを修正または軽減するために手動の手順を自動化する機会または改善すべき領域を特定し、ストレージプラットフォームを効果的に管理するためのコーディングに直接貢献します。
・新しいサービスとテープバックアップインフラストラクチャの改善を構築、テスト、および提供します。
・地域に限らず、グローバルにもさまざまな関係者と連携して、ストレージ関連のプロジェクトとイニシアチブを推進し、実施します。
・Follow-the-Sunサポートモデルの下で、インシデントが発生したときにグローバルに展開されたストレージプラットフォームのサービス復旧を監視して作業するオンサイトL3サポートを提供するか、必要に応じてオンコールサポートを提供します。
・ライフサイクルを通じてアプリケーションチームと協力して、信頼性と拡張性の高いストレージプラットフォームとサービスを提供します。

●Requirements：
・2 or more years of hands-on experience with automation tools, writing scripts in Python, ansible playbooks, and Terraform
・2 or more years of experience with Veritas Netbackup enterprise appliance, disk-based, and tape-based backup solutions and practical knowledge on managing enterprise storage devices such as Hitachi/NetApp NAS( Network attached storage), Hitachi SAN (Storage Area Network), and Hitachi HCP(Content Address Storage)
・Working experience with code repos (Git), project tracking (Jira) and ITIL Ticketing (ServiceNow) systems
・Experience with VMware ESX Hypervisor, Redhat Enterprise Linux server platform, MS Windows Server operating systems
・Business level Japanese and English, good verbal and written communication skills
・Sound team players to collaborate with various colleagues across regions to deliver goals together.

・2年以上の自動化ツール、Pythonでのスクリプト作成、簡単なプレイブック、Terraformの実践経験
・2年以上のVeritas Netbackupエンタープライズアプライアンス、ディスクベース、およびテープベースのバックアップソリューションの経験と、Hitachi/NetApp NAS (Network Attached Storage)、Hitachi SAN (Storage Area Network)、Hitachi HCP (Content Address Storage) などのエンタープライズストレージデバイスの管理に関する実践的な知識
・コードリポジトリ (Git)、プロジェクトトラッキング (Jira)、およびITILチケット発行 (ServiceNow) システムの実務経験
